Different levels in manifestation of God's power

01. God’s Power as Manifested through Rev. Dr. Jaerock Lee
Countless works of healing always take place at revival meetings and crusades conducted by Rev. Dr. Jaerock Lee. As the magnitude of Rev. Dr. Lee's manifestation of God's power increases year after year, the healing has been taking place not only to those who are present at the site of the meetings or crusades but also to people participating in them on the Internet or television.

 Rev. Dr. Jaerock Lee's ministry can be summarized as "the ministry of God's power." Even before the founding of Manmin, the works of God's power in healing and the showing of signs and wonders occurred through Rev. Dr. Lee. When he prayed for the sick, a patient who had been carried to the crusade on a stretcher would stand up on the spot and begin walking and jumping. Evil spirits were driven out and people who had been tormented by a variety of illnesses were made whole by his prayer.

 Such works of God's power only increased in magnitude with the passing of time. After hearing the news of Rev. Dr. Lee's powerful ministry, people from different parts of the world are flocking to Manmin today with their illnesses and infirmities. At overseas crusades that began with "The 2000 Uganda Church Leaders' Conference and Crusade," Rev. Dr. Lee has demonstrated time after time, year after year, the increasing magnitude of his manifestation of God's power. A myriad of works of God's power and healing have taken place when he prayed only from the pulpit without placing his hand in prayer on the head of each participant as the blind came to see, the mute began speaking, the deaf started to hear, the crippled stood up and began walking and jumping, and those suffering from such incurable and terminal diseases as AIDS and cancer were made whole on the spot.

 The type of works one could witness only through Jesus are taking place today. How, then, is it possible for these things to take place through Rev. Dr. Jaerock Lee? Of course, such works the works of power that belong to God the Creator. Rev. Dr. Jaerock Lee is merely being used as an instrument of God and through him, God is making it clear to the whole world the fact that He is alive and that Jesus is the Savior of mankind.

 Why has God selected Rev. Dr. Jaerock Lee as His instrument and allowed him to manifest such works of His power?

02. Meeting with God after Seven Years of Torment of Sickness
Finding the answer to the question above requires one to understand how Rev. Dr. Jaerock Lee met with God and how he has been leading a life in Christ after meeting with God.

 Prior to meeting with God, Rev. Dr. Lee had been tormented by a variety of illnesses for seven years and awaiting his death. Yet, the moment he met with God, he was healed of all of the diseases. After an undeniable experience of meeting with God at the crossroads of life and death, unshakable faith in the almighty God made dwelling in Rev. Dr. Lee's heart. He could believe from the depths of his heart in the strength of God who revived the dead, healed countless people suffering from all types of diseases, stopped the movement of the sun and the moon, split the Red Sea, and had water flow out of a rock.

03. Fighting against Sin to the Point of Shedding Blood and Living by the Word
From this point onward, Rev. Dr. Jaerock Lee began diligently reading God's Word and living according to the Word. In order to abstain from every form of evil which God found detestable, he fought against sin to the point of shedding blood. By wholly obeying God's commandments, Rev. Dr. Lee fasted frequently in order to rid himself not only of sins he committed in deed but also of all sinful attributes in the depths of his heart. He was gradually being transformed into a clean vessel and manifesting God's power.

 Even after founding Manmin, Rev. Dr. Lee fasted as often as he ate for God's kingdom and righteousness and to thoroughly understand God's Word in the Bible. He prayed with compassion and love even for those who persecuted and sought to kill him and even at the threshold of death, he committed his life only to God - the One who controls life, death, curse, and blessing of life - instead of relying on worldly means.

 As Manmin experienced an exponential growth, there were times at which he suffered from needless afflictions from false accusations. Even at such junctures, Rev. Dr. Lee did not rely on the world or compromise with it. Like Abraham who sacrificed his son Isaac as he fixed his eyes only on the almighty God, Rev. Dr. Lee only sought to pursue righteousness with the faith accompanied by deed. Each time Rev. Dr. Jaerock Lee overcame trials big and small only by faith, goodness, and love, God poured His great power upon him.

04. Different Levels in Manifestation of God’s Power
While in prayer, Rev. Dr. Jaerock came to realize that there are four different levels in the works of God's power.

 The first level of God's power is the work of the fire of the Holy Spirit by which various types of diseases are set ablaze and destroyed. At this level, the work of God's healing takes place as the sources of diseases - bacteria, virus, cancerous cells, and the like - are set ablaze by the fire of the Holy Spirit. This level of the manifestation of God's power can heal diseases that modern medicine claims to be able to cure as well as such incurable and terminal diseases as leukemia, cancer, and AIDS, against which modern medicine is helpless and useless.
The first-level manifestations of God's power must be distinguished from the works of healing manifested by the gift of healing. The gift of healing and God's power are different from one another in the magnitude of their strength. For example, two people may be able to operate vehicles but one of them may be able to drive only very cautiously while the other one may drive very skillfully.

 The second level of God's power is accompanied by the strength to drive out such forces of darkness as demons, Satan, and the devil, and the strength to bring back souls that have exited the body. At the second level of manifesting God's power, one can drive out the forces of darkness from someone being tormented by demons or Satan and simultaneously heal any diseases stemming from them. For instance, there are scenes in the Bible in which demon possession has caused deafness and epilepsy but people were healed of the diseases when the demons were driven out from them.
Also at the second-level manifestations of God's power, the dead may be brought back to life but only according to His will. The instance in which the apostle Paul brought back the life of a young man named Eutychus is a good example.

 The third level of God's power is accompanied by various miraculous signs and the works of the creation. "A miraculous sign" refers to the healing not of ordinary diseases but of diseases that cannot be healed by the might of man or medicine, such as blindness, speech disability, deafness, infantile paralysis, or cerebral palsy. At the third-level manifestations of God's power, people born deformed or crippled, or body parts that have degenerated and made imperfect from accidents can be healed. Falling into this category are such works of the creation including broken bones being set straight, non-existent bones being generated, tendons re-attached, cells that had completely died from a burn restored, and deteriorating eyesight being restored to the optimal level.

 At the fourth level in manifestation of God's power, one can control and rule over all things in the universe. Of course, the authority and the strength of controlling and ruling over all things in the universe belong only to God but through people He deems proper at the times of His choosing, God allows such manifestations of authority and strength to take place.
At this level, one can by prayer manifest the work of shifting the weather, i.e., stopping the rain, bringing forth rain out of a clear sky, or moving the positions of the clouds. He could also drive out gas from those suffering from briquette gas poisoning and the burning sensation, and even make inanimate objects to be obedient. The works of God's power at this level also transcend time and space. When the individual prays for the sick from one place, they will experience the work of God's healing that transcends time and space even if he does not lay his hands on them in person.
At the fourth-level manifestations of God's power, diseases are healed and the forces of darkness are driven away by God's power that knows no limit of time and space, and all the works of His power at first, second, third, and fourth levels can take place.

05. The Most High Power of Creation
The works of God's power manifested by Jesus and recorded in the Bible were at a level higher than the fourth level of manifestation of God's power; He had displayed the Most High Power of Creation.

 In John 11 is a scene in which Jesus called out to Lazarus, who had been dead for four days and from whose body came out a stench, "Lazarus, come forth." Then, "He who had died came forth, bound hand and foot with wrappings; and his face was wrapped around with a cloth."

 When people abstain from every form of evil, become sanctified, and enter whole spirit by taking after the heart of Father God (1 Thessalonians 5:23), they will enter the spiritual realm in which they will gain boundless spiritual knowledge. As much as they gain spiritual knowledge, their manifestations of God's power will supersede the fourth level and improve into a higher level. When the Most High Power of Creation is thus wholly accomplished, the works of creation - the way God created everything in the universe by His Word - can take place.
